Why FixtureFlex

We Built This Because We Kept Seeing the Same Problem

Shop after shop running one or two parts at a time. Operators babysitting machines. Hours lost reclamping between jobs. Orders always behind. There had to be a better way.

The Problem

Sound Familiar?

Setup takes 4 to 5 hours and your operators spend half the day reconfiguring clamps just to run the next job.

You're running one part per cycle because your vise can't hold more. The machine sits idle while your operator reloads.

Every setup depends on one experienced operator. New hires take months to get up to speed and tribal knowledge walks out the door.

The Solution

What FixtureFlex Changes

More Parts Per Cycle

Run 3 or more parts start to finish in a single cycle, regardless of part size.

Repeatability to 0.01mm

Fixture repeatability as tight as 0.01mm. Load a part and trust the setup every time.

Setup in 30 Minutes

What used to take 4 to 5 hours now takes roughly 30 minutes across the floor.

Faster Changeover

Standardized workholding and standardized work offsets mean faster job transitions with fewer mistakes.

Easier Operator Training

New employees get up to speed faster. The system does the heavy lifting, not tribal knowledge.

Time Back for Improvements

Less stress. Less babysitting. More time to work on the shop instead of just in it.

Real World Result

One Shop. Six Machines. Transformed.

A job shop running six milling machines implemented FixtureFlex across their entire floor. They run between 4 and 10 setups per week.

Before: Setup times of 4 to 5 hours per machine. Running one part start to finish per cycle at best.

After: Setup times down to roughly 30 minutes. Running 3 or more parts per cycle depending on part size, with shorter cycle times per part as well.

The result was not just more output. It was a calmer, more predictable shop floor with time left over to actually improve the business.

Why Not Just Buy Off the Shelf?

Brands like Chick, Lang, Jergens and Schunk make great products. But they come with a fixed design you adapt your shop to.

FixtureFlex works the other way. Because we only deliver the 3D files and documentation, the cost is significantly lower. More importantly, we design the system around your machine and your workflow, not a standardized catalog base plate.

You are not locked into anything. If you want changes before machining, we make them. If you find improvements after running it for a while, we can update the design. You are the machinist. The system works for you.
